I Learned Some Minnesota History On My Trip To Cheesecake Factory
Last weekend I went to the Cheesecake Factory in Edina with my boyfriend and his grandparents. I am obsessed with the red velvet cheesecake there.
I'm not from the "cities" and am pretty oblivious to the stores and shopping malls in that area. I thought it was pretty cool to find out that the Southdale mall where the restaurant is located was the first enclosed climate-controlled mall in America.
It was built in 1956. It's weird to think that indoor shopping malls have only recently (within the last 50 years) become "a thing." Just when I thought Minnesota couldn't get any cooler...I find this out! Keep being you Minnesota!
