ESPN's Centers of the U.S. Hockey Universe

  1. Minneapolis-Saint Paul
  2. Boston
  3. Detroit
  4. New York City
  5. Chicago

While there are other contenders for the throne, it's hard to argue against the Twin Cities as the center of the hockey universe. The Wild, Gophers, Whitecaps, and state high school tournament all call the Twin Cities home.
