Record Wind Christmas Night Damage Your Holiday Lights? Here’s Where To Bring Them
Sunday night's record wind storm was wicked, and damaged a ton of Christmas displays. If you found some strands of lights damaged, here's where to bring them to recycle.
There's a program called "Recycle Your Holidays" and there's locations all over the state still taking those non-working holiday lights.
Many people don't realize you aren't supposed to throw your lights in the garbage or recycle bins. Most all lights are able to be re-used for new strands of lights, and that's just what the Recycling Association of Minnesota is trying to make people realize.
If you have non-working holiday lights in central Minnesota, you can take them to the following location below for recycling, year-round:
WACOSA – 321 Sundial Dr, St. Cloud, MN 320-251-0087 ext 207
