Meet Rachel Babcock from Sartell, She’s our October ‘Veteran of the Month.’ Rachel was nominated by her husband Zach who had this to say about him;

Rachel served honorably for 8 years and deployed to Iraq in 2007. Since leaving the military she has continued to serve this area working with disabled adults, while completing a nursing degree and being a loving and wonderful mother of two, and obviously an amazing spouse."

Rachel Babcock joined the military her junior year of high school and left right after graduation for basic training. Following basic, she offered to deploy to Iraq, and was at Ft. Sill one month later.

After returning from her tour in Iraq,  Babcock voluteered for State Active Duty for the floods in ND as well as the fires in northern Minnesota. In 2013 she left the military to focus on her 2nd child on the way.
