WATCH YOUR GARDEN GROW

With the extremely early warm temperatures, now feels like a good time to think about what you might want to grow this year. You know that when you get plants from a Master Gardener, they have been cared for, planted properly, and can expect the most from these awesome, healthy plants.

The Sherburne County Master Gardeners will be having their amazing annual plant sale at the Oliver Kelley Farm, located at 15788 Kelley Farm Road in Elk River.

WHAT YOU CAN FIND

The sale will offer a variety of plants, including:

  • Garden Veggies
  • Herbs
  • Annuals
  • Perennials
  • Trees
    and more!

BRING YOUR WELL WATER SAMPLES

The Sherburne Soil & Water Conservation District will be there as well, offering individuals free nitrate testing for their private well water from 9 am until 1 pm. If you would like to bring a water sample for testing, follow these rules:

  • Run water for 5 to 10 minutes and then fill a clean container with water.
  • Bring in at least 1/2 cup of water
  • All samples need to be kept cold, so perhaps bring it in a small cooler
  • You can bring more than one sample.

PLAN ON ARRIVING EARLY

We always try to give you a heads up. The plant sale will last as long as the plants do, but that usually isn't very long. Personally, I would be arriving around 8 am to get in line for the best selection.

History of Minnesota Timberwolves' 1st Round Draft Picks - Year by Year

No team has probably suffered more in its history in Minnesota than the Timberwolves from playoff failures to poor decisions, see Joe Smith's contract, and bad trades it seems like the team is almost always in the wait-until-next-year mode. A look at the team's first-round draft picks over the years may help explain some of it.
