The Minnesota Millionaire Raffle is almost here, and this year I expect tickets to fly out the door faster than ever.

Why? Because there will be more prizes, and even more millionaires!

THE PRICE OF A MINNESOTA MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE TICKET

You heard that right. The Minnesota Lottery says that the price of a ticket will remain the same, but there will be even more cash prizes and more millionaires made.

The Minnesota Lottery shared that the Millionaire Raffle tickets will be $10 and will be available for purchase on October 20th, 2027. This year, instead of 2 million-dollar winners, there will be 4!

MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT

Every year, I purchase at least one ticket for each of my kids and put the envelopes under the tree. They can't open them until New Year's Day. I'm so worried that they will take them and misplace them that I gather them myself, put their names on the envelopes, and set them in a safe location until New Year's Day.

The winners of the raffle will be announced on New Year's Day. Make sure you don't lose that ticket, because without it, you won't be able to collect your prize.

In addition to the 4 million raffle tickets, there will also be 6 $100,000 winners, 6 $50,000 winners, 6 $25,000 winners, and 20 $10,000 winners.

That's not all. You also have a chance at winning $500, $100, or $50 cash prizes.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF WINNING SOMETHING?

According to their website, the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 49.76! I actually think it's a pretty good shot.

Last year, both million-dollar winning tickets were claimed. However, there was one $50,000 ticket that has not yet been claimed. If you happen to have that ticket, you still have until December 31st to collect your winnings. Just make sure you get to the office before they close.

There were 20,000 raffle winners across the state of Minnesota last year. Will you join them on New Year's Day?
