Dolly Parton Memorabilia Heads to Auction – Place Your Bids Now
If you've ever dreamed of owning a little piece of country music history, this might be your chance.
For country music fans like me in central Minnesota, imagine owning something Dolly Parton actually wore, signed, or used while creating one of her famous music videos!
THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING
I don't know if I have enough money to even place a starting bid on any of these items, but I'd love to have just a little piece of Dolly 'sparkle' in my home. According to the website, More than 30 items connected to Dolly are heading to the auction block, giving us all a chance to own a little piece of Dolly's world.

PLAYED, WORN & TORN EVENT
The collection is part of 'Julien's Auctions' Played, Worn & Torn' event in Nashville on October 22nd. Some of the items going up for auction include:
- Original costume sketches
- Music video props
- Signed memorabilia
- A guitar that was smashed by Dolly
- A signed "Rhinestone" vinyl album
- A vintage metal Dolly Parton Parkway sign from Sevierville, Tennessee
- Limited edition print for 'Honky Tonk Angels'
COSTUME SKETCHES OF DOLLY'S MOST FAMOUS OUTFITS
One of the coolest offerings is a collection of original costume sketches by legendary designer Bob Mackie, who helped create some of Dolly's unforgettable looks.
One drawing features a butterfly gown from a 1979 television special with Carol Burnett. Another shows a blue jumpsuit Dolly wore while performing her song "Two Doors Down." I remember seeing her in these outfits. Do you?
I WANT IT
And here's something that really caught my attention. A mirrored vanity and padded stool used in Dolly's 2014 music video for "Home" is going up for auction. You can see the vanity in the video above
There will also be a floral dressing screen from the same production available. Can you imagine having a vanity table in your bedroom that was actually used in a Dolly Parton video? I feel like I could sit at that vanity with my new guitar and write a million songs with the help of Dolly's spirit in the room.

As a fellow performer, I think there's something really special about Dolly. I've spent plenty of time around microphones, keyboards, and stages myself, and I know how much personal history can be attached to the things we use to perform. Just imagine owning something Dolly actually touched or used while creating her music.
DOLLY SMASHED A GUITAR?????
Another unusual item is an Epiphone electric guitar that Dolly smashed and signed during a 2023 interview and magazine cover shoot. The guitar is broken into several pieces, and it comes with a photograph documenting the moment. I'm sure this isn't something you could ever fix to play, but for a collector, that might be what makes it so interesting.
HONKY TONK ANGELS
The limited-edition print, featuring the album artwork for "Honky Tonk Angels," signed by Dolly, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette, would be another amazing thing to own. I can't imagine what it will go for, but I bet it will be a huge amount.
