This year, I really want to make sure my family can sit down together and enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner. But I can't say I'm not worried about the cost of putting that meal on the table. When you start adding up the price of a turkey, all the traditional side dishes, dinner rolls, and dessert, it can get expensive pretty quickly.

The good news is, I just found out ALDI has a plan. And if you're trying to stretch your grocery budget this Thanksgiving, you're going to want to read this.

FORGET THAT PIZZA ORDER -TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING MEAL IS SERVED

I was seriously starting to think that I might be better off just ordering four large pizzas for Thanksgiving this year, and calling it a day. But with the plan Aldi just rolled out for us, I think I can put the Thanksgiving meal back into our Thanksgiving celebration.

GRAB THE GROCERY LIST AND MAKE YOUR PLAN

If you head to their website, they say you can shop at Aldi this year and find their grocery list for Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people for less than $39. That's less than $4 per person! Pretty impressive price for a family holiday meal.

THANKSGIVING GROCERY LIST

So, what exactly are they including in this Thanksgiving grocery list?

We're talking about a 16-pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, cranberries, peas, carrots, and celery. You'll also get the milk and whipping cream, along with the ingredients needed to make a pumpkin pie. My family will probably want to trade the sweet potatoes for mashed potatoes, but in general, this sounds like a pretty good plan to me.

In other words, ALDI is helping shoppers put together a traditional Thanksgiving meal many of us grew up enjoying, from the turkey in the middle of the table to the pumpkin pie waiting for dessert; and yes, this offer is available at our local ALDI stores.

NO SPECIAL HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH

You don't have to hunt down a stack of coupons or sign up for a special loyalty program to get the advertised deal. There are no special memberships or minimum purchase requirements. ALDI says the meal is based on the core items included in the American Farm Bureau Federation's annual Thanksgiving dinner cost survey, making it easier for shoppers to compare prices.

ALDI says its customers have saved an average of 26 percent on a classic Thanksgiving meal compared with the Farm Bureau's national average over the past five years.

You can visit ALDI.us/Thanksgiving to find the shopping list and add the ingredients to an online cart for pickup or delivery. If you're shopping in person, look for participating Thanksgiving products marked with a turkey logo on store shelves.

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER

There's one important thing to remember: The advertised prices are available through November 25th, 2026, while supplies last. Some featured products have different availability dates, so it's a good idea to plan and check with your local store.

I know there are plenty of families out there who are feeling the financial squeeze right now. That's why I like the idea behind this offer.

Thanksgiving shouldn't be about how much money you spend or how many dishes you can fit on the table. It's about taking a little time out of our busy lives to appreciate the people around us.

So, if you're hosting Thanksgiving this year, or you're simply looking for a way to help with the cost of the family meal, this might be worth checking out.
