‘Oh Say Can You Sing?’ Jacks Looking For Anthem Singers

If you've got the pipes, the 'Jacks are looking for you. The upcoming 2024-2025 season will be here before you know it and the hockey club is looking to fill its roster of National Anthem singers.

The Granite City Lumberjacks put the notice looking for singers on social media.

We are looking to highlight local singing talent during our home games for the 2024-25 season! Please sign up to share your singing abilities! Spots are limited so submit your audition video now to be considered!

The Lumberjacks made it to the semifinals this past season and were looking to repeat as league Champions in back-to-back years before they dropped their semifinal game to the Northeast Generals 2-1.

The team is looking at a different division this year, as the Western Division saw some changes with the Rochester Grizzlies being moved to the Central Division, and a new team came in to take its place. The Western Division welcomes in the Minnesota Moose who will be playing in Blaine, and a newly renamed team in a new home with the Minnesota Wilderness now calling Eveleth home, making the move from Breezy Point.

Season tickets can be purchased for team fans while out at the Benton County Fair, as the team will be running the team store inside the arena.

Having gone to a few games, it seemed the anthem has been sung by a variety of people, this might be your shot to show your patriotism and your voice off. Just don't be like Ingrid...
