The number-crunchers at are at it again, this time determining the most miserable cities in Minnesota (or if you turn the list upside down, the happiest places in the state). According to their data, the most miserable place in the state is Minneapolis. Mendota Heights is the happiest. Here's the rest:

The team at looked at percentage of residents with a college degree, average commute times, unemployment rates, cost of living, percentage of married couples, percentage of home owners, and poverty rate of 168 Minnesota cities to come up with their results.

And now, we sadly present the most miserable cities in the North Star State:

  3. Crosby
  4. Princeton
  5. Brooklyn Center
  6. Bemidji
  7. Columbia Heights
  8. Worthington
  9. Lexington
  10. Winona
