Are Minnesotans Getting Dumber?

The above picture is being used not to make a statement, but because it was there. I don't even know the context of it.

We'd (hopefully) like to think that, as a species, we're getting smarter. Innovations, technology, gettin' learned...shouldn't our heads be growing with all the knowledge we're getting?

In a word: derp.

We're getting dumber.

Education is actually getting worse, and even our nutrition is getting worse. Snacks, snacks, everywhere...but not a drop of water instead of cola to drink.

Researchers claim that every generation is seven IQ points dumber than the previous generation. Do you know what this means?

It means that Idiocracy was, in fact, a foreshadowing of our inevitable future.

Better stock up on Brawndo! It gives [insert random object/person/whatever] what they/it/whatever craves!

I do believe it has electrolytes, too. I'm gonna go shave my chest with a lawnmower.
