The Minnesota Timberwolves are battling the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the NBA's Western Conference playoffs, and the stakes just got even higher.

SEA LIFE Aquarium has locations in both Minnesota and San Antonio, Texas, which has led the locations to propose a wager: whichever team wins the series will get aquatic bragging rights!

WEMBY SEA STAR AT SEA LIFE

The losing location will have to name one of its sea stars after a star player from the opposing team. That could mean a 'Wemby" sea star at Mall of America or an "Ant" in San Antonio!

The Timberwolves took game one of their playoff series on Monday night with a 104-102 win in San Antonio. Game two is set for 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night and can be heard on AM 1390 and FM 93.9 Granite City Sports.

SEA LIFE:

With Minnesota's basketball team moving into the second round of the playoffs against San Antonio, SEA LIFE San Antonio and SEA LIFE at Mall of America are diving into a friendly competition inspired by the excitement with their own super stars.

Whichever team wins this series will get aquatic bragging rights as the losing SEA LIFE location will have to name one of its own stars, a sea star, after the star player from the other team.

Whether a sea star will be named Wemby or Ant at the respective Aquarium, it will all be determined over the seven-game series!
