ST. CLOUD - The final concert at Summertime by George is upon us, and it couldn't end with a better show. The Fabulous Armadillos will be closing out the concert series. Fabulous Armadillos singer Bill Scherer says the band is looking forward to it, especially because it is one of the band's favorite concerts. If you're heading out to Lake George you can expect a great concert. The Fabulous Armadillos will be performing some highlights from their shows.

I suspect we'll do some stuff from our Stadium Rock show which we've been doing around the area this summer, and we'll probably do some of the stuff from our Summer Theme that we did in June at Pioneer Place. I would guess that's what we're going to do.

Scherer says the band is most looking forward to playing for another huge crowd at Summertime by George.

Always wondering are we going to out do what we did last year, and it's just so great to play in front of that huge of a crowd. There's nothing more fun than to go into a song that everybody knows, and the crowd, they start singing along. There's nothing like 15,000 people singing a song along with you on stage.

The Fabulous Armadillos will be taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. Opening tonight's concert will be Walter's Wheelhouse. They take the stage at 5:00 p.m. with music from Guns & Roses, Santana, Sheryl Crown, Train, and more.
