We received a message from one of our listeners on Thursday morning. She asked us if we had ever heard of people ziptieing envelopes to stop signs?

Our listener was on her way to work and was driving on 3rd Street in St. Cloud, when she came up to a stop sign. She saw something that looked out-of -place attached to the stop sign. After looking closer, it peaked her curiosity. As it was in the 6 am hour, she wasn't fighting any traffic, so she got out of her vehicle to see what it was.

MYSTERIOUS ENVELOPE ZIP-TIED TO STOP SIGN IN ST CLOUD

What she found was a white envelope, with no writing on it, zip-tied to the Sign. She said it was wet because of the rain. She took the envelope inside her vehicle and when she opened it up, there was a twenty-dollar bill inside.

All kinds of things started running through her mind. Should she have taken this? Was it a random act of kindness that she would now pay forward? Was the money placed there for someone specific? If so, why was there nothing written on the envelope?

Our listener proceeded to drive around the neighborhood to see if there were any other signs with a zip-tied envelope to them, and she didn't find any.

After she left, she asked some of her family what they thought it was, and some of them thought it could have been a trap. They might have put it there in the evening to jump out and kidnap someone, but abandoned the idea when no one came overnight.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OR SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE?

We are asking you if you've ever seen anything like this? Was it a random act of kindness? Or was it put there for other reasons? We would love to hear your input.
