Everyone's concerned about going and hanging out at bars (which I am looking forward to as well) but what I really want to do is go thrift shopping.

Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota posted on Facebook stating:

We are working to reopen stores by June 1. We're in the process of recalling employees, training them for new safety practices and setting measures in our stores to keep customers and employees safe.

Savers in St. Cloud announced they will be opening again on May 27th.

Your St. Cloud Savers will be re-opening on Wednesday May 27th. Initial hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily to allow for additional time to thoroughly clean and stock our sales floors.

Savers also announced what customers can expect when they shop at Savers going forward, including things like enhanced cleaning procedures, protective gear on team members, and customers having to bag their own items if using reusable totes.

Everyone has been deep cleaning their houses for a couple of months now and you just know the donations coming into second-hand stores are going to be top tier. One of my favorite things I ever found at a St. Cloud's thrift store was at Goodwill. I found a set of Labatt Blue drinking glasses that were shaped like beer cans. That was a friend of mine's beer of choice and he was notorious for taking the tops off of pop cans with a can opener. That thrift find couldn't have been more perfect for him.

I'm ready to get my thrift on.
