St. Cloud Police Gets Hit In The Face By Alleged Shoplifter

A Sauk Rapids man is arrested after hitting a police officer in the face during a shoplifting incident in St. Cloud on Wednesday (3.30) evening.

The 29 year old tried to flee on foot, but was arrested a few blocks away.

Police showed up to the Sunrise Liquor on 14th Ave for a shoplifting complaint. Elakie Fale, Jr. was arrested shortly before 11p. The officer is not injured.

I was just talking to my sister this past weekend about how we are so polite to police officers. Actually, to anyone with authority. How someone can muster the courage to smack a police officer is beyond me.
