Granite City Lumberjacks Qualify For 2026 Playoffs
The Granite City Lumberjacks have qualified for this year's Fraser Cup Playoffs. The team announced on social media this week, and it's good news for fans, as it means another chance to hoist the cup.
Another Shot At A Championship
The Lumberjacks were the last NA3HL champions in 2023, but made the finals in 2024 before falling to the Helena Bighorns. Last year, the Louisiana Drillers were the league champions.
How the Fraser Cup Championship Tournament works is that divisional playoff champions will advance to the NA3HL Fraser Cup Championship Tournament, where they will play a two-game round-robin format followed by a semi-final and a championship game at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, MO from March 25-29.

A round-robin format with two pools will be implemented, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the Semi-Finals, where they will then cross over to play the other top two teams from the other pool. The winners of the Semi-Finals will advance to the Fraser Cup Championship Game.
Still A Month Left In The Season
The Lumberjacks, who are currently in 2nd place in the West Division, have an overall record of 26-6-1-2 and trail the Minnesota Moose by 2 points. The 'Jacks will close out January in Iowa, where the team will be on the road taking on the Mason City Toros Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
The Lumberjacks will be at home during the month of February a total of 5 times, and will close out the regular season in March with two road games. You can see the remaining schedule here.
The Lumberjacks play their home games at the Miller Buick GMC Rink at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
