Restaurants and grocery stores aren't the only industries offering curbside service in St. Cloud. In his weekly address, St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis announced he is offering town hall meetings in a curbside fashion.

In the video, Mayor Kleis says that over the past couple of weeks he has had the chance to talk with hundreds of individuals and small groups. The topic that has been on everyone's mind lately has been dismantling systemic racism. He believes it is done through conversations happening, listening, and taking action, which is exactly what he plans to do.

Mayor Kleis wants to keep those conversations happening even with the COVID-19 pandemic happening. To keep with CDC guidelines, Kleis wants citizens to be able to talk with him about things and issues that important to them in a safe and healthy way. He invites citizens to call his office and set up town hall meetings either as individuals or small groups in yards, parks, or public areas to allow these important conversations to keep happening.

To set up your own curbside town hall meeting with Mayor Dave Kleis call his office (320)-255-7201 or home (320)-253-9525.

Mayor Kleis has done over 750 town hall meetings and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. This is a great opportunity to voice your concerns, and have that voice heard by the person leading your community.

Mayor Dave Kleis does weekly video updates on his Facebook page, they can be seen here. Thank you, Mayor Kleis for offering this option as a way for people to have their voice heard.
