The St. Cloud State men's hockey team fell to North Dakota with a score of 4 to 1 during the second round of the NCAA tournament West Region Saturday night in Fargo.

Husky fans were severely outnumbered by North Dakota fans who dominated 15 of the 16 sections. It was a standing room only crowd at Scheels Arena.

SCSU took an early lead and scored the first goal of the game with just one minute and 29 seconds into the first period. It was Jimmy Murray's fifth goal of the season. North Dakota tied the game with 11 minutes and one second left in the second period and three shots on goal. It was Andrew Panzarella's first goal of the season.The score remained 1-1 heading into the second period.

North Dakota took the lead with 13 minutes and 11 seconds left in the second period. It was Drake Caggiula's ninth goal of the season. The score was 2-1 in favor of North Dakota going into the third period.

North Dakota scored their third goal of the game, with 19 shots on goal, 17 minutes and seven seconds in the third period. It was Luke Johnson's tenth goal of the season.

North Dakota's Colten St. Clair scored their fourth goal of the game with 40.2 seconds left in the third period. It was the junior's 3rd goal of the season.

The final score was 4-1, North Dakota.
