Rare 1939 Guitar Stolen From Waite Park Music Store

Rocktown Music in Waite Park experienced a robbery around 5 pm on Tuesday, October 8th. They shared it on their Facebook page saying:

Guy ( thin light complexion black guy in ripped up jeans) got away with a rare 1939 Recording King Archtop guitar. We have video & finger prints-we just want the guitar back.

The stolen guitar was sold in St. Cloud before the war and the guy that they acquired it from asked that it would be displayed as a historical piece.

Rocktown Music said that the guy does play and ask the public if they see the guitar to please call or contact the Waite Park police.

Rocktown Music has been locally owned for ten years in the Waite Park area.
