Local News: St. Cloud Norsemen Battle Top Teams For Playoff Spot

The St. Cloud Norsemen are in the middle of a push for the playoffs, and right now they are in the driver's seat, sitting in fourth place, knowing the top-4 teams make the playoffs. Here's a look at the week of games ahead for the Norsemen.

It's a playoff push for the Norsemen as the season is only going on for a few more weeks.

Tonight, the Norsemen are taking the bus down to Mason City, to take on the North Iowa Bulls in a rare Wednesday night game, the two teams will end up seeing each other the next 3 games in a row as the Norsemen are in Iowa tonight and Saturday night, with the Bulls coming to St. CLoud Friday night in a big home game for the Norsemen.

Friday's game also has some intermission fun, with Sta-Fit giving away some prizes for those in attendance.

Game time Friday night is scheduled for 7pm at the MAC in St. Cloud.

The Norsemen then are back on the road in Aberdeen next weekend taking on one of the other teams battling for 4th place.

March 14th and 15th the Norsemen are back home skating against one of the top teams in the Central Division when Bismarck is in town for a 6:30 Friday game and 7 pm Saturday puck drop.

The season wraps up for the Norsemen on April 12th against the Watertown Shamrocks, with game time slated for 6:30pm at the MAC.
