SCOTT & GINA SCORED BIG ON SHARK TANK

A Minnesota-based company out of Long Lake, called "Dog Threads,"appeared on Shark Tank this past Sunday, and wow; did they make a splash! They make Hawaiian shirts, sweaters, T-shirts, plaid shirts; and adorable matching clothing & accessories for dogs and their humans.

Mark Cuban invested $250,000 in their business in exchange for 25% after they explained how they reinvested their profits back into the business and had no debt. Gina (who was a clothing designer) now focuses on the business full time and in just one year secured new accounts with retail giants Chewy.com, Nordstrom and Von Maur.

I had the opportunity to speak with Gina last week before the show aired on Shark Tank. You can listen by clicking the player below.

The business also has a great side benefit. Dog Threads is based on ethically made products, and makes donations to help animals in need find their forever homes.

Dressing your pups is what they do best; with matching clothing for everyone in the family; Mom, Dad, kids and dogs alike. We'll have to see what the sharks think of their idea. Will they invest?
