Fans of the restaurant Bailey Ray's Roadhouse have been patiently waiting for it to reopen. An update was given yesterday on when that might be, and it sounds like it might be a little bit longer, thanks to insurance.

'I Wanna Get This Place Open As Much As Everybody Else Wants It Open'

A post to the brand's social media page revealed what the delay in reopening the restaurant seems to be.

A lot of people have reached out asking for an update so here’s what I have so far
As of June 1, we’re still working with our contractor and insurance company to get final payment so the contractor can finish the job. Our insurance company was quick to pay the initial payment but has been dragging their feet on approving the final steps. I will post an update as soon as we get approval.
Thanks for your patience I wanna get this place open as much as everybody else wants it open.

So when will it open back up? There isn't a definitive answer to that; we will just have to wait out the insurance process.

Closed Due To Fire In 2025

Bailey Ray's Roadhouse closed in 2025 after a fire inside caused extensive damage. According to a WJON story in July of 2025 "The bar, located at 2120 165th Avenue in Santiago, had flames coming out of the roof when emergency responders arrived."

Back in March, there was a brief update from Bailey Ray's Roadhouse, where the owners, Pat and Rebecca O'Brien, were hopeful that the restaurant would be open by April.

Fingers crossed that the insurance process speeds up and Bailey Ray's Roadhouse can open back up by the 4th of July.
