Lumberjacks Net Another 6 Goals In Take Down Of Binghamton
The Granite City Lumberjacks are streaking at quite possibly the right time, as the Lumberjacks have totaled 20 goals in their last 3 games in the playoffs, and are now waiting to see who their interpool play opponent will be, as that will be decided tonight.
The Lumberjacks silenced the Buzz, winning 6-1 last night in Missouri. The NA3HL West Division champs are looking to hoist their 5th Fraser Cup in team history, if they can keep up the torrid pace of scoring goals.
One of the key players this season has been T.J. Lepisto, and he had himself a night last night, pulling a hat trick, and helping his team to the convincing 6-1 win over what looked on paper like an excellent Binghamton team.
Scoring for the 'Jacks last night were:
Easton Portner (1:23 1st), TJ Lepisto(44.4 1st), Patty Dunaiski (08.2 1st), TJ Lepisto (17:31 2nd), Patty Dunaiski (14:22 2nd), TJ Lepisto(15:03 3rd).

Patty "Downtown" Dunaiski has also been lighting the lamp up during the playoffs, something I'm sure the Lumberjacks see continuing as they enter the semi-finals Saturday.
Who will the Lumberjacks play?
Right now, that seems to be up in the air. The Jacks will win Pool B by going 2-0. They will face the #2 team in Pool A, but right now, it looks like all three teams could wind up 1-1. Playing tonight in Pool A are New Mexico and Helena, if New Mexico wins, they will be the #1 seed in Pool A, with West Bend being the 2.
New Mexico won last night, beating West Bend Power 4-3. West Bend on Wednesday night, beat Helena 2-1. So right now, Helena is 0-1, West Bend is 1-1, and New Mexico is 1-0. If Helena gets the win over New Mexico, all three teams are 1-1, and in that case, I'm unfamiliar with how they break the tie, goals scored maybe?
When do the Lumberjacks play next?
The Lumberjacks are off tonight and will be playing at 7:30 Saturday night.
If the Lumberjacks continue to stack W's, they will find themselves in the championship game Sunday at 4.
