This afternoon from the National Weather Service:  Heavy snow will impact southern MN and western/central WI Wednesday, with 6-12+" likely in these areas. The Twin Cities are currently forecast to see 3-6", with heaviest amounts in the south and east metro area. There will be a sharp cutoff in snow amounts over the Twin Cities, so small shifts in the storm track could cause significant changes to the forecast. Stay tuned for updates tonight and tomorrow morning; see www.weather.gov/mpx for your latest local forecast.
