FREE STREAMING SERVICE CALLED HOOPLA

Who needs Netflix? Who needs Hulu?

Well...Apparently I do, because I pay for those services every month. But now, I could save myself some money thanks to the Great River Regional Library. GRRL has announced its first-ever streaming service! The streaming service Hoopla is now available to access... simply by using your library card.  It is also accessible through my Roku TV, which is the best of all! That's where I'll be using it. Just download the Hoopla App and watch away on your Roku devices.

DO YOU HAVE A LIBRARY CARD?

The big question is...do you have a library card? If not, it might be time to get one. Click here to get your library card now.

Hoopla will give you the ability to check out a variety of videos and movies with no waiting.  Library cardholders will be able to enjoy 4 downloads per month. The website hoopladigital.com lets you borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics, and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone–and even your TV.

No one wants to wait to watch their movie. The great thing about Hoopla is that the titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. Content can be accessed through the website or via the Hoopla app available in the Apple and/or Google Play store.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE?

The content contained in hoopla is a mix of educational and popular movies to entertain the different likes of library patrons.

With a large variety of books, movies, and TV shows, there are so many options – and lots of options, and the best part is that it's all free.
