Ever feel like you are being watched? It doesn't take too much now to feel like that. Between doorbell cameras, security cameras, and cell phones, a camera is never far away. Flock cameras have been in the news for the last few months, and this morning I decided to take a look at where they were. Did you know the St. Cloud area has more than 20 right now? Here's where they all are.

What's A Flock Camera?

You might be wondering what is a Flock camera is. Like Kleenex, Flock is a brand that makes automatic license plate readers, or ALPRs. Most people, however, have started to call these cameras Flock cameras, even if they aren't specifically that brand.

The cameras, according to the American Civil Liberties Union, are "widely used by local police departments, HOAs, and businesses. These AI-enabled devices capture detailed vehicle characteristics, including license plates, make, model, color, and unique vehicle damage, to help solve and deter crime."

Where Are The ALPR Cameras In The St. Cloud Area?

Well, there is a handy map that has the locations of the automatic license plate readers, ALPRs, and it looks like in the St. Cloud area, there are 23 cameras. The cameras are scattered across Sartell, Waite Park, and St. Cloud.

Beautiful Photos From Clemens Gardens

This weekend was a great one to get out and do something fun. I wanted to destress, so I drove over to Clemens Gardens for a nice stroll through the gardens. What a beautiful place it is. There are flowers everywhere, as well as fountains and statues. These photos only capture part of what's available to see, but in case you haven't had a chance to visit, now is a great time to view them, as everything is in full bloom. Take a look at some beautiful photos and then make a plan to take your own trip. All of your senses will thank you.

6 Photos You Won't Believe Were Taken In Minnesota

After having spent the greater part of the last three weeks outside Minnesota, it has been great to be back. We live in a very beautiful part of the country. From the North Shore's jagged cliffs to the rolling croplands of southern Minnesota and to the driftless area near Preston, our state is filled with beautiful sights. I managed to find 6 photos that were taken right here in Minnesota, but when you look at them, you'd think they were taken somewhere else completely. Let's enjoy the land of 10,000 photos, shall we?
