Cool Off on the Central Minnesota Splash Pad Road Trip

As the governor loosens restrictions related to COVID-19, splash pads around the area are getting ready to open for the season. Just in time too as the Minnesota summer heat is starting to set in.

If you are on the hunt for a place to cool off, look no further than the Central Minnesota Splash Pad Roadtrip.

Lake George - 1101 7th St South, St. CLoud

Open mid-May through mid-September, weather permitting.
Splash pads is operational from 9am to 7pm, every day.

Riverside Park - 1725 Kilian Blvd, St. Cloud

Open mid-May through mid-September, weather permitting.
Splash pads is operational from 9am to 7pm, every day.

Westwood Park - 720 Driftwood Dr, St. Cloud

Open mid-May through mid-September, weather permitting.
Splash pad is operational from 9am to 7pm, every day.

River's Edge Splash Pad - 1300 Great Oak Drive, Waite Park

As of right now, no official word has been made on hours of operation for 2020.

Rivers Edge Park features a fabulous Splash Pad which will generally be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend - weather permitting.  The hours of operation are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Autumn Ridge Park Sauk Rapids -  2270 Parkview Lane NE, Sauk Rapids

The splash pad is open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. seven days a week

Royalton Splash Park - 1014 8th Street North, Royalton -  between North Birch Street and North Evergreen Street.

As of right now, no official word has been made on hours of operation for 2020. In the past, it operated from 11 am to 8 pm during the summer months.

It features a splash pad, playground equipment, outdoor grills, and a shelter with a kitchen area that can be rented out for a fee.

Sauk Centre Splash Pad -101 Hickman Drive, Sauk Centre

Open now through Labor Day.

Bathrooms, a shelter w/electrical outlets, and picnic tables are available. The area also features a skate park, soccer field, basketball court, and bike trails. The hours of operation are 10:00 am - 8:00 pm weather permitting.
