The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central Minnesota in effect from 9 PM tonight through 9 AM Sunday morning -- including Benton, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties.

Starting out as rain, precipitation will change to wet snow overnight with 1 to 5 inches of accumulation expected. Additionally, winds will gust to 35 mph. Plan on slippery road conditions.

From the National Weather Service this morning: A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for a portion of the area from this evening into Sunday morning. Rain will change to snow tonight, and will be locally heavy at times. Accumulations from 1” to locally 5” are possible.
