UPDATED: Winter Weather Advisory thru 10 AM Sunday

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 10 AM Sunday morning for portions of central Minnesota, including Kandiyohi, Meeker, and Wright Counties.

Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected in the Winter Weather Advisory area.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the southern part of Minnesota including Marshall, Mankato, Albert Lea, Rochester, Red Wing, and the Twin Cities metro -- where 6 to 12 inches of snow is expected.

Travel across the southern part of the state will be difficult. If you must travel, keep a charged cell phone, warm clothes, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
