Uber Rides Now Available In St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - It didn't take long for Uber to join Lyft in coming to the St. Cloud metro area. The app-based ride service announced Thursday they're coming to our area.

Uber's website says they're also looking for drivers in our area. Full-time and part-time driving jobs are available for independent contractors.

To kick-off Uber's arrival, they are offering free rides this weekend in St. Cloud. You just open the app, enter the promo code RIDESTCLOUD, and request a ride. The offer is valid for up to two rides.

Uber is also expanding into Rochester and Mankato.
