Tom Brady’s Nostalgic MN Memories Shine After Vikings Loss

As I watched the Vikings game on Sunday, I was hopeful for a win. McCarthy seemed to come back in the fourth quarter, seemingly hitting all of his targets and throwing a pass for a touchdown.

The Vikings were on it, getting the kick and jumping ahead of the Bears 17-16. Unfortunately, there was too much time left on the clock, and the Bears were able to move the ball down the field on the first down, leading to the 19-17 win. So much for the game.

A BRIGHT SPOT IN A SEA OF LONESOME PURPLE

So instead, I'd like to focus on a bright spot of the game, and it has nothing to do with the Vikings. Tom Brady was talking about his love of our state. I guess he's openly talked about this in the past, but it was fun listening to him reminisce about Browerville, Minnesota. Did anyone else catch this?

GOTTA LOVE FISHING IN MINNESOTA

Brady was saying how much he loved fishing here in Minnesota. He remembers spending his childhood in Browerville fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye. He referred to Minnesota as being 'back home', and it was just nice to hear how much he loved our state.

According to other sources, Browerville is where he spent time milking cows on his grandfather's farm as a kid. His mom was raised in Browerville and married there in 1969.

Apparently, Tom has some relatives who still live in the area as well.

It's nice to know that we aren't the only ones who think our state is special. It's nice to receive some notoriety from celebrities from time to time.

It doesn't sound like Brady gets to Browerville much these days, but who knows? Maybe he has visited family and just doesn't want the world to know about it. A summer trip to Browerville? A little fishing adventure? A visit to maybe his favorite local restaurant? Although we'd all love to know when you're in Minnesota, Tom, we also appreciate that you have great memories of our great state, and maybe you want to cherish those memories in peace.
