Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend. Time changes at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 10th. You'll want to make sure that before you go to bed, you move your clock ahead one hour--otherwise, you'll be very confused all day on Sunday.

Essentially, this is that time of year where you'll be losing an hour of sleep. I always feel so bad for new parents who don't sleep much anyway. I was a new parent around this time last year. Daylight Savings Time was not my friend.

I still don't understand the point of Daylight Savings. I mean, does it actually help the farmers and save THAT much energy? I think we need to get rid of it altogether. It's very weird that for part of the year we pretend it's one time and then as a nation we pretend it's a totally different time.

But, I'll admit that I do like the fact that it stays light a lot longer. Fun tidbit, the sun will officially set at 7:16 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. We're gaining daylight, folks! Summer is coming.
