Thielen Better: Vikings’ Offense Has Made Major Progress

Minnesota's playoff win at New Orleans last week was especially rewarding for Adam Thielen. He was sidelined for almost two months in 2019 by a hamstring injury.

The first quarter of the season was rough for the Vikings' offense, too. The scheme was new. Kirk Cousins was not consistently connecting with Thielen or fellow star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Frustrations were high after the Vikings lost at Chicago to drop their record to 2-2. But they've come a long way since then. The 43-yard pass from Cousins to Thielen in overtime against the Saints was a prime example.
