Former MN Vikings QB Filling In On ‘The NFL Today’
A familiar face for Minnesota Vikings fans will be on CBS's NFL pregame program starting this Sunday. The former Vikings QB will be taking over for Matt Ryan, who recently signed with the Atlanta Falcons as their President of Football.
Former Vikings QB To Fill In On 'The NFL Today'
Yahoo Sports posted to social media yesterday afternoon that current Atlanta Falcons Quarterback Kirk Cousins will be filling in for Matt Ryan on CBS's The NFL Today. Ryan left the NFL Pregame show on CBS the previous week as he was signed by the Atlanta Falcons to be their President of Football.
Personally, I'll be interested to see how Kirk does and how he comes across on camera. As a player in Minnesota, Kirk was known to be somewhat rigid with his routine and how he quarterbacked. Will we see a Kirko Chains, or Kohl's Kirk this weekend? Hopefully, it's a blend of the two.
Not The First Time The Camera Has Been On Former Vikings QB
Kirk Cousins isn't a stranger to being on camera; he was part of the Netflix series Quarterback that followed around various NFL Quarterbacks during the season, opening the QBs' lives to fans beyond the gridiron.

In the program, Kirk really came across as a genuinely great guy and a family man. The way he handled being benched for Michael Penix, in Season 2, really spoke volumes about the type of person he is.
If you are interested in how Kirk does, you can watch on CBS starting at 11am.
