
The Pick Is In: The Twin Cities Are About To Be Overrun By NFL Fans
The NFL announced this morning that the 2028 NFL Draft will be hosted by the Minnesota Vikings. Meaning fans from across the US, and for that matter, the world, will be coming to the Twin Cities in April 2028 to cheer on their team, making the Twin Cities the focus of the NFL.

"Minnesota Knows How To Show Up"
According to a press release from the Minnesota Vikings and the NFL today, Commissioner Roger Goodell said that Minnesotans know how to show up to big moments.
"Minnesota knows how to show up for big moments, and we've seen it firsthand," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "This is a market that delivers at the highest level. Working with the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Sports and Events, we look forward to bringing the 2028 NFL Draft to this great community, driving positive economic impact throughout the region, and hosting an incredible experience for fans and the next generation of the NFL."
Rotating Host Sites Since 2015
The NFL has been rotating the NFL Draft to different host sites since 2015, and just this past year, the NFL Draft was held in Pittsburgh, bringing in hundreds of thousands of fans over the course of the NFL Draft and other activities for fans to enjoy.

According to the NFL, "the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh attracted a record-setting 805,000 fans over three days, while millions watched nationally and internationally. The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C."
