Leave it to good ol' science to save the day!

If you're STILL panicking about what to get someone for Christmas, science has your back.

Just get them a gift card! Science says!

What should you NOT get them? A charitable donation on someone's behalf; they'll possibly feel slighted. Shout all you want about how selfish that makes them because you're the one who gave them the gift of something to someone else.

Money isn't (or at least shouldn't be) a huge factor. Science says that higher cost doesn't necessarily correlate into higher appreciation (although a yacht is a freaking yacht).

No need to get super fancy with gift wrapping, either. Glaming up a bad present is simply polishing a turd.

The goodest gifts are those that 'will last for months and years to come.'
