Jules's Bistro took to social media on Tuesday to announce that the cafe is open again for indoor dining, and they've made some upgrades for smoother operation!

Last week, we revealed the list of top 10 Best Restaurants Around St. Cloud according to Yelp. Claiming the No. 1 spot on that list was one of my personal favorites -- Jules' Bistro in downtown St. Cloud. I've been visiting Jules' Bistro semi-regularly ever since I began working in St. Cloud 3.5 years ago -- the food is fantastic, the drinks are fantastic, the staff is fantastic and the space is fantastic. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to enjoy the space over the past several month. In early November 2020, the bistro took to social media to announce that it would be closing for indoor dining as a precaution against COVID-19.

"Although you won't be able to pull up a seat at one of our tables," Jules' Bistro posted on Facebook, "you'll still be able to order...to-go coffee and pastries via counter service...menu and bakery takeout...box lunches and catering, including charcuterie trays...whole cakes and trays of other bakery favorites, including cookies, scones, bars, macarons and more."

In early December, the downtown bistro took to social media again to announce that it would be reducing hours further.

Twelve weeks after announcing reduced hours, Jules' Bistro shared some exciting news on Tuesday --that  it will be reopening for indoor dining again and has made some upgrades and improvements for smoother service!

"Over these past couple of months, some unexpected struggles have kept us from being able to offer inside dining. We’ve been pretty quiet about them — at a time when so many people seem to be facing unique challenges, talking about ours just didn’t feel right."

The Facebook post goes on to boast about its new point of service system, which will allow the team "to enter your order at the table with greater accuracy and efficiency." The bistro can also now process credit card transactions more easily than ever, accept Google Pay and Apple Pay and offer "real reloadable, reusable gift cards." Decaf lattes are also better than they've ever been, and the kitchen freezer is "working like the well-tuned, well-oiled machine it was born to be."

Hours for indoor dining are 11am-8pm Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins will be seated as seating is available. Keep up to date with Jules' Bistro on Facebook here.
