With ten games being played so far in the Granite City Lumberjacks' season, they haven't been able to find an 'L', and it's been 10-straight wins for the Lumberjacks as they get ready to play a home-and-home series against a bitter rival. The St. Cloud Norsemen are back at home this weekend with a 2-game series against Minot. The Norsemen currently sit in 5th place, with a 6-5-2-0 overall record.

Should We Refer To Granite City As The _umberjacks?

So far through the first 10 games, the Granite City Lumberjacks are 10-0 going into a rivalry series against their I-94 foe, the Alexandria Blizzard. Friday night will be more treat than trick as the Jacks will be in Alexandria for a 7:10 p.m. puck drop. Saturday, the teams come back to the friendly confines of the Miller Buick GMC Rink at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Saturday night's game will start at 7:30 p.m.

So far this season, the _umberjacks are in first place with a perfect 10-0 record in the West Division, while the Blizzard are in 3rd place with a 7-4-0-1 record.

Minotaurs Just What The Norsemen Needed?

Minot will be in town for a two-game Central Division collision. The Minotaurs are sitting in 6th place with a 3-7-1-2 record and a -17 goal difference. The Norsemen are back home after a weekend series split with the North Iowa Bulls. The Norsemen, who are sitting one spot above the Minotaurs, could use the two wins to potentially put them in either 4th or 3rd place in the Central Division.
