"Fargo" is being made into a t.v. series on FX and they're shooting the series in Canada, eh? I don't think a ton of Minnesotans will be upset about the location choice for filming the FX series, because being from Minnesota, born and raised, I've never used "eh" at the end of a serious sentences and I don't think our accents are quite as thick as portrayed in the classic 1996 film... even though the movies creators, brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, are Minneapolis natives.

The limited run, 10-episode series is scheduled to debut in the spring of 2014. In the original “Fargo” movie, a Minneapolis car salesman organizes a kidnapping plot with a couple of thugs, but the plan goes horribly wrong.

According to a report from The Hollywood Rreporter, the TV version of "Fargo" will follow a new case and have new characters, “all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and ‘Minnesota nice’ that has made the film an enduring classic.”

We'll see how well this goes, eh?
