1. We have extended our lease and we will stay in our current location in Shakopee, MN at least through 2021.2. We continue to plan for our 50th Anniversary and we are hopeful that we will be able to celebrate together at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.3. Currently, outdoor events in the State of Minnesota are limited to 250 people. We are having discussions with Minnesota State officials regarding the 2020 season.4. In order to provide more time for health experts, scientists, State officials, and all of us to monitor the spread and containment of COVID-19 in Minnesota, Mid America Festivals decided to change the dates of our 2020 Festival to September 5, 2020 thru October 4, 2020 (weekends plus Labor Day).5. We have developed a draft Preparedness Plan as part of our ongoing efforts to initiate mitigation measures and protocols for 2020 to provide a safe environment for patrons and participants. A working draft of our Preparedness Plan will be shared in the near future.6. We will not engage in any activity that is contrary to Minnesota State directives and it is our belief and hope that the amount of people testing positive, the severity of the cases, and the advancements in treatment will trend in the correct direction in Minnesota and that Governor Walz will issue a new Executive Order resulting in significantly more people being permitted to attend outdoor events in Minnesota.7. All events of fewer than 250 people scheduled to take place at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival prior to September 5, 2020 will take place as planned per Minnesota State Guidelines.
