This will make your jaw drop. A man in Grand Forks is dead after stealing a police car and colliding with a semi on Monday night.

The Grand Forks Herald reported that Grand Forks Police were making a welfare check on Monday evening, and during the check it as discovered a warrant was out for the mans arrest. While officers attempted to arrest him, the suspect he began to fight the officer and tried to disarm him. The man got away, then stole a police vehicle and drove onto I-29 going northbound.

He veered into the southbound lane, and collided with a semi on the interstate near the Alerus Center. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The semi driver didn't have any major injuries but was shaken up by the experience.

Video has been circling Facebook of the man stealing the police car. A few of my friends who went to UND shared the video on their timelines.
