The Love and Paws Date Night for Animal Wellness will be taking place at the River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at 5:30 pm.

The event is to support Green Acres Animal Rescue in St. Augusta.

The event will include a delicious dinner, dancing and an opportunity to bid on some incredible items available through the silent auction, all while supporting a paw-some cause!

Proceeds from the event will go towards covering veterinarian fees and building an emergency fund to ensure that every animal in need receives the care they deserve.

ABOUT GREEN ACRES ANIMAL RESCUE

Green Acres Animal Rescue is an animal rescue located in Saint Augusta, established in February 2020, and are a nonprofit 501c3 organization.

Green Acres Executive Director Sheri Meline and staff believe that animals are a lot like children in the fact that they look to their “parent” to feed them and provide important things like shelter, medical care, a warm place to sleep, and time to play.

"Animals may not be able to talk, but a person can tell their emotions by their behavior and actions. It is important for us to be able to provide abandoned, neglected, abused, elderly and animals involved in a disaster or temporary tragedy, with a safe environment, where they can receive the treatment and care they deserve and hopefully find their “FUR-EVER home." ~Green Acres Team

At Green Acres, they believe that there is a reason behind all animal aggression and ailments. Green Acres staff are willing to work with those precious animals and provide the care and training necessary to ensure they ultimately have a happy and meaningful life. All of their pets will be spayed/neutered and given appropriate vaccinations and any testing/medication necessary before being sent home to their new owner.
