A local company is working to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club locations in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Kilian Truck Line Inc. started a Go Fund Me page in November of 2020 to help raise money for the club after they realized that the pandemic has been particularly tough on the children in our area.

According to their fundraising page, "Navigating through these difficult times can be challenging for adults, but to be a child trying to understand what's going on can be even harder."

That's why they've got a goal of raising $3,000, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the Boys and Girls Club. Right now, there are about 200 children enrolled at all of the Boys and Girls Club locations in St. Cloud. The truck company wants to give each child a gift.

They also have a toy donation drop box at their shop located at 3622 30th Avenue Southeast in St. Cloud.

This Friday, they plan to deliver 200 gifts to the children who are currently part of the program. The kids will all be receiving winter hats and gloves.

"Whatever you can donate during these times is extremely appreciated both from the Kilian family and the Boys and Girls Club," wrote fundraising organizer, Chad Kronbach.

Right now, they're at $1,310 of their overall fundraising goal. If you'd like to help reach the $3,000 goal, you can make a donation through the Go Fund Me page.
