If The 4th Of July Falls On A Weekday, Should The 5th Of July Be A Holiday? [Petition]

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays because the weather is nice, everyone is barbecuing and sporting their best red, white and blue...oh, and how could I forget staying up late to watch the fireworks.

That's why I think that if the 4th of July falls on a weekday, the 5th of July should be a holiday too! I mean, who wants to stay up super late on the 4th, after a day of being outside in the sun and running around, only to have to work the next day?! Americans need a day of rest and relaxation to recuperate from their day of celebration. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

So, please Uncle Sam, take my suggestions to heart!
