lf you’re hoping to catch a few new flicks under the stars this weekend, you’re in luck! Minnesota’s outdoor movie theater season is well underway–weather permitting. The good news is that the weather looks like it could cooperate this weekend!!
Long Prairie Drive-In Theater (Long Prairie, MN)
Closed this weekend due to temporary screen damage.
Starlite Drive-In (Litchfield, MN)
You’ve got a few options at Starlite Drive-In, since they have two screens that play at once. Screen one’s first feature will be ‘The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature' (PG), starting at about 9:30 p.m. followed by ‘The Emoji Movie′ (PG). On screen two you can catch ‘The Dark Tower’ (PG 13), followed by ‘Dunkirk’ (PG 13). Concessions are available for purchase.
Vali-Hi Drive-In (Lake Elmo, MN)
You’ll have your choice of three movies, ‘Despicable Me 3′ (PG), ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’ (PG 13), and ‘Girls Trip' (R). The box office opens at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Concessions are available for purchase.
Verne Drive-In Theater (Luverne, MN)
New this week at the outdoor theater in Luverne is ‘Dunkirk′ (PG 13) which will be the first feature. You can catch the second feature right after the first featuring, ‘Annabelle: Creation’ (R).
You can catch a showing of ‘Wonder Woman’ (PG 13). Concessions are available including BBQ sandwiches, nachos, pizza, popcorn and more.
