GAME DAY: Vikings Visit Saints Today in New Orleans
The Minnesota Vikings will be looking to rebound from Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears this afternoon in New Orleans. Essentially eliminated from the playoff race, the Vikings will be playing for pride of these last two weeks of the season.
After starting the season 1-5, the Vikings (6-8) have now gone 5-3 over their last eight games. The Saints (10-4) are coming off a 32-29 loss at home last week to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Vikings lead the all-time series against the Saints with a 23-12 record. The last matchup saw the Vikings top the Saints 26-20 in overtime in New Orleans back on January 5th, 2020.
The Vikings will be without the services of defensive end Jalyn Holmes, linebackers Eric Kendricks and Troy Dye, running back Alexander Mattison, and tight end Kyle Rudolph. Linebacker Todd Davis is listed as 'doubtful.' Defensive tackle Armon Watts and fullback C.J. Ham are listed as 'questionable' for today.
The Saints list as as having all players available for today's game.
The Vikings are 7 point underdogs against the Saints today.
