Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 PM tonight through 9 AM Monday for a large portion of central Minnesota including Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne counties.

Areas of rain will transition to a wintry mix, including freezing rain tonight into Monday causing slippery road conditions that could could impact the morning commute.

From the National  Weather Service this afternoon: Freezing rain will develop across southern & eastern MN and western WI this evening and turn to snow briefly Monday morning before ending. A tenth of an inch of ice is expected. Snow will fall further north from west central to northeast MN. A couple inches are possible north of Morris and St. Cloud.
