Every year at the end of July/beginning of August a staple in the area happens.  It's the Benton County FREE fair.  And by free I mean there is no admission charge.  It's a great time for families to get out and enjoy everything that a county fair is in Central Minnesota.

There are events in the Grandstand that will be an extra charge, but enjoying the music on the stage by the beer garden is free.  I love that fact. You can go to the fair in the evening, maybe grab some cheese curds, a corndog, some great lemonade...or some other adult beverage, and enjoy some awesome bands that are scheduled to be on the beer garden stage.

Right now, here is the schedule. They are all great - might want to make plans to attend the fair each night.

SATURDAY AUGUST 2

Mallrats schedule to start at 8pm

Nothin' but the 90's sing-a-long rock. The mission is crucial: recreate the authentic sound and energy of the '90s, and become immersed in the celebration of an era. With a visual production far exceeding expectations, Mallrats perform in front of a 24’ video wall encompassed by an explosive display of confetti cannons and a high intensity performance all contained inside a luminescent haze. Scha-wing!

SUNDAY AUGUST 3

Kat Blue scheduled to start at 1pm.

Great way to wrap up the fair in the afternoon.  Plus, all the midway rides are usually half price on the last day of the fair.

Many more events scheduled to be at the Benton County Fair this year.  We will keep you updated as we get closer to the start of the fair.
