Ford Recalls 240,000 Vehicles Including Flex, Taurus, and Lincoln MKT
Ford Motor Company has issued a recall of 240,000 cars and SUVs across the globe. There is a potential problem with a part in the suspension that can fail, potentially leading to an accident.
The recall includes specific models of the Ford Taurus SHO, Taurus police car, Ford Flex, and Lincoln MKT from model years 2013-2018. According to ABC News, most of these vehicles are in North America.
The part that is to blame is the rear toe links in the suspension. So far there haven't been any reported crashes or injuries. Drivers will be notified by the company starting March 2nd. Dealers will replace the parts with an improved toe link free of charge.
